A Simple Church that Aims to do four things well.
Biblical Fidelity
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is the only infallible rule of faith and practice for the Christian life. Through the sacred Scriptures God makes us wise unto salvation and has provided for us all that is necessary for life and godliness.
Loving Community
The Christian life was never intended to be lived alone. God has created community and fellowship to be innate within the church. We value loving community because through it believers are encouraged and our neighbors are reached with the Gospel of Christ.
Gospel Witness
We believe that the call of the church is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in the gathered assembly of the church, in the home, in the workplace, and in the public arena. It is our aim as a congregation to make the glorious gospel of Jesus known and to see our neighbors become our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Expository Preaching
Because we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is able to make men wise unto salvation and the equip the saints for life and godliness it is our aim to open the Bible each and every Lord’s Day and proclaim it. We do this by preaching systematically through books of the Bible.
Church Covenant
Mercy Hill Church exists by the grace of God, for the glory of God, which shall be the ultimate purpose in all its activities.
Mercy Hill Church glorifies God by loving Him and being faithful to His commands through:
Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry by preaching and teaching the Word of God;
Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through faithful pulpit ministry and personal evangelism by the saints at Mercy Hill Church;
Aiming to fulfill the great commission by participating in missions work both domestic and international, primarily done by planting like minded churches;
Administering the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper;
Encouraging the fellowship of believers;
Serving our community by being salt and light in the name of Jesus;
And the equipping of men called to gospel ministry.
